J+J's NYE Wedding

So, what was I doing this NYE? While unfortunately I wasn't with my family, I was doing my second favorite thing, shooting! I recently linked up with an old high school photographer friend, Julio C Photos, who was shooting this NYE Wedding at Arden Hills. I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to ring in the new year doing what I love and second shooting with him for Jess and Joseph's special day. Joseph is in the Marines and the theme, navy with dashes of red, was beautiful and actually matched his uniform too! Since this was a night wedding, it was a little different from my normal style, which is light and airy with natural light. We had to use lighting and flash for the portraits, which I normally don't vibe with, but that's what we had to work with, and I actually LOVE the dramatic, moody look!
