W + K's Folsom Maternity Photography

So... some of you might remember from my IG Story a week ago that I was up at the crack of dawn for a sunrise session in Folsom, Ca. Why sunrise?? Well, there's only two times of day that I recommend shooting in, and that's sunrise and sunset, because that's when you get the soft, beautiful, golden sunlight, otherwise known as the "golden hour". It's my absolute favorite time to shoot, and whenever I can schedule sessions during these times, I really recommend it. If we aren't in "golden hour" light, we MUST find open shade, which limits the locations that we can shoot! Sooo...was it worth it waking up at 4:30 to make the drive from Sacramento to Folsom to catch the sunrise? ....You tell me!!
